Tandem hosts its 11th annual KEYS Conference in Allen, Texas for professionals in the financial institution industry and security-minded businesses. 

More than 200 professionals met in Allen, Texas, for the annual KEYS Conference on April 4-6, 2023. Designed to provide Knowledge Essential to Your Security, the April 2023 conference provided a gathering place for security-minded organizations to learn about new ideas in information security and future developments of Tandem. 

Attendees were able to engage in sessions covering a variety of hot topics, such as incident management, social engineering and phishing, security awareness training, psychology and security, stakeholder communication, and business continuity. They also had the opportunity to network with other users and receive direct assistance from Tandem experts and information security consultants. 

Keynote sessions included: Creating Your Impactful Purpose by Landon Holly, SVP – Director of Project Management for City Bank; an interactive session about the exciting things happening at Tandem with previews into upcoming Tandem features; and a conversation with examiners, featuring an elite panel of three examiners from the OCC, NCUA, and Texas Department of Banking. 

The conference began on Tuesday with pre-conference sessions on how to prepare for your next IT audit and exam, and how to use Tandem. 

Breakout sessions were offered in three tracks: Tandem, Risk & Compliance, and Cybersecurity. Sessions were presented by dynamic speakers who promoted attendee participation. 

For conference entertainment, attendees enjoyed a night at PINSTACK in Allen, Texas, with activities such as bowling, arcade games, laser tag, good food, and priceless conversations. 

"Being able to interact with our customers in this setting is so valuable to us," said KEYS Conference Coordinator, Alexandria Fontana. "We learn about the needs and ideas of our customers, which we then take home and work into the software."
