Tandem is pleased to announce that we are now an Affiliate Member of the Cyber Risk Institute (CRI). Through this membership, the CRI Profile is now fully supported within Tandem's Cybersecurity Assessment product.

The CRI Profile is a widely used cybersecurity framework developed specifically for the financial services industry. With this update, Tandem customers can activate and use the CRI Profile directly within the platform, alongside other supported frameworks.

Simplified Use of the CRI Profile

Previously, organizations using Tandem had to create and manage the CRI Profile manually. With native support now available, customers can enable the CRI Profile with minimal setup and manage it in the same structured, repeatable way as other frameworks in Tandem.

This change reduces administrative effort and helps ensure consistent assessments, documentation, and reporting across cybersecurity programs.

Full Support for FFIEC CAT Sunset Frameworks

With the addition of the CRI Profile, Tandem now supports all four frameworks identified in the FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool (CAT) Sunset Statement, including:

This framework coverage helps organizations evaluate alternatives to the FFIEC CAT while maintaining alignment with regulatory guidance and examiner expectations.

Supporting Efficient and Consistent Cybersecurity Assessments

By adding built-in support for the CRI Profile, Tandem continues to focus on making cybersecurity assessments easier to manage, easier to document, and easier to maintain over time. This update is designed to save teams time while supporting a stronger and more organized cybersecurity program.
